Took the political compass test today

Today, I took a political compass test at Political Compass and I moved into the less authoritarian camp as can be seen above. Specifically, I moved from the blue zone to being mainly purple. I have seen so many authoritarian regimes/leaders make big mistakes and commit various evils so I firmly believe in Lord Acton's words that absolute power corrupts absolutely.

I am a conservative, Bible-believing Christian who is pro-life/pro-business and I also always vote for the Republican due to the Democratic Party moving to the left since the 1960s.   I am about as right-wing as George Washington below and as libertarian as well. At least in my estimation, George Washington was the best leader out of the ones below so I was happy I scored near Washington according to the people at the political compass website.

The article Five signs that you might be right-wing indicates that being right-wing often indicates that you are resistant to new experiences. Since, I am a social conservative, yet a big believer in open-mindedness, intellectual curiosity/humility, creativity and innovation, this probably explains why I am on the line between right-wing/left-wing, but leaning towards the right-wing side.
